IKAS-ART'S FIRST EDITION,
WAS HELD IN 2008. IT WAS A HUGE
MANIFESTATION OF CULTURE AND ART.
OPEN TO EVERYONE, IT
TOOK PLACE AT THE VISCAIAN
VILLAGES OF GÜEÑES
AND BALMASEDA.

Güeñes held
two sites of 2.000 m2 each. One was in
Arenatzarte and the other in Sodupe.
Balmaseda held a
2.000 m2 tent showing
drawings and pictures.
A 6.000m2 exhibition open to the public.

14 spanish universities took part in this edition
More than 450 works of art from about 300
students representing their faculties
and their approach to art were featured.
The University of Burdeaux was invited to take part.
