Rules
1. APPLICANTS
Any Art faculty can apply for Ikas-Art 2011.
Other educational and research centers willing to take part can apply if they meet the following requirements:
> They must be part of their country’s official education system and have a respected and provable teaching experience.
Ikas-Art will allocate the stands once the applicant has fulfilled all requirements. Ikas-Art has the right to make some exceptions in order to guarantee the quality of the exhibition.
Each university will establish their own criteria when selecting the works for the exhibition.
2. RULES
The exhibition is held every two years at Bilbao Exhibition Centre (Barakaldo).
Each faculty will be supplied with a 10x10m exhibition area (100m2).
Ikas-Art will send in advance a layout map of the area asigned to each university.
Universities will choose the works to be shown at the exhibition. Schools will provide Ikas-Art with a list of the works to show. This list must include the name of the work, author, contact details and technical description.

3. TRANSFER
Each university will take care of the transportation and insurance of their students' work.
When shipping, the university will notify the organization of the day of delivery and provide a list of the works that have been sent.
4. STORAGE AND RECEPTION
The organization will be responsible for the proper receipt of the work, provided it has been notified by the university on the corresponding inventory.

5. ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
The organization will provide the necessary walls for the placement of the works, depending on the choice made on the registration form.
It is strictly forbidden to paint, fix plugs, nail, etc.. in the areas of the fairgrounds: corridors, floors, columns, walls...
Each university is required to withdraw all its works and package them for onward transport.
The organization is not responsible for any damage that may suffer those works that have not been collected and packed on the deadline for dismantling.
6. CATALOG
The organization will publish the official catalogue of Ikas-Art 2011 which will include the exhibited works.
For the edition of the catalogue, universities must submit a written presentation of each faculty, which will be used as a chapter introduction, along with its logo. Also, in digital format and in a single package, a photo of each of the works to be exhibited under the title, author's name, applied technique and contact details.
Requirements: photos will have a minimum size of 15x10 cm at 300 dpi in jpg format.
If photographs of the works are not submitted before the deadline they will not appear in the catalogue.
The organization reserves the right to reproduce images of works exhibited at Ikas-Art.
